Myn Weaver
In "Toil and Trouble" (Ahsoka 1.2), Ahsoka Tano and Hera Syndulla meet Myn Weaver, who runs a New Republic shipyard on Corellia. Weaver's surname ties him to Ahsoka's larger motif of threads and weaving, foreshadowing the revelation that he is an agent of the witch Morgan Elsbeth and her masters, the Nightsisters.
In the scene immediately preceding Ahsoka and Hera's encounter with Myn Weaver, Morgan tells Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, "The threads of fate do not lie." Throughout Ahsoka, this motif of the "threads of fate" ties Peridea's trio of Nightsister witches to the three Fates of Greco-Roman mythology or the three Norns of Norse mythology. Both trios of goddesses are associated with fate or destiny. They are imagined as weavers, symbolizing the way they weave the various threads of the universe into their design. Similarly, the three Nightsister witches are trying to shape the fate of the galaxy with their magic, and although he initially presents himself as a loyal servant of the New Republic, Myn Weaver is part of their dark design.
