Bazil
In "Day" (The Acolyte 1.4), the Jedi enlist the help of the small, beaver-like tracker Bazil to find Jedi Master Kelnacca on the jungle planet Khofar. Bazil's name evokes Basil of Baker Street, the hero of the Disney animated film The Great Mouse Detective.
In The Great Mouse Detective, Basil is an anthropomorphic mouse who acts as a private detective, emulating Sherlock Holmes. (Basil's name pays homage to Basil Rathbone, the British actor who played Sherlock Holmes in several films in the 1930s and 1940s.) In the film, Basil is engaged to find a missing mouse, and as part of his attempt to solve the case, he enlists the help of a basset hound to track a suspect's scent with his sense of smell.
Thus, "Bazil" is an appropriate name for a diminutive, furry, rodent-like creature who plays the role of a detective in the story, tracking the missing Kelnacca's scent with his sense of smell.
