Alpha and Omega
In “Bounty Lost” (The Bad Batch 1.9), Tech reveals that Omega is one of only two unaltered clones of Jango Fett. The other, Jango’s clone “son” Boba Fett, was codenamed “Alpha” by the Kaminoans.
These codenames are apt, because “Alpha” and “Omega” are the first and last letters, respectively, of the classical Greek alphabet. Presumably, Boba – whose creation was requested by Jango as his only payment for the donation of his genetic material – is the first unaltered clone made by the Kaminoans. And Omega is certainly the last, which is why the cloners’ agents are pursuing her so fiercely in The Bad Batch.
